2nd Annually Bench Bullying Celebrity Basketball Game

On Sunday, May 21st local and out-of-town celebrities will be lacing up their sneakers to hit the hardwood for the 2nd annual Bench Bullying celebrity basketball game.

Founded by former Halifax Rainmen standout, Eric Crookshank, Bench Bullying is non-profit organization that is dedicated to spreading awareness of the effects of bullying, as well as supporting those who have been affected.

“At Bench Bullying, we believe in supporting both the victims of bullying as well as their antagonists. “We do not feel that meaningful change cannot occur until all parties involved in

bullying incidents are provided with the tools, resources and mentorship required to build self-esteem and become positive, contributing members of society.”

Lastly, On May 21st celebrity game will provide spectators of all ages with the chance to take the Bench Bullying pledge while enjoying the fun-filled, action-packed game. Through activities like these that will allow youth to have access to a safe environment where they can make new friends, build confidence and find positive ways to deal with mental anguish while knowing that they are supported
